Why Option D Wins
Banner serves the visitor (Martell principle): "Stop Guessing. Start Ranking." tells them what THEY get, not who you are
Credibility strip does the heavy lifting: Forbes + SEMrush + 150+ team — proven authority without bragging in the main area
Your name isn't needed: YouTube shows your channel name below; LinkedIn shows your name + headline below. Using banner space for your name is redundant
The 100K mission creates a movement: People don't follow individuals, they join movements. The progress bar makes it participatory — "I want to be part of that number"
"Free training" is the Hawk Academy CTA: Nobody clicks "Hawk Academy" cold. Everyone clicks "Free Training." Name recognition comes later
Teal/cyan palette (like Martell): Consistent, premium, stands out on both YouTube dark and LinkedIn white backgrounds
Instagram — Pinned Posts Strategy
3 pinned posts: Business Journey → SEO Journey → AI Search Mission. Left-to-right narrative arc.
PIN 1
The Business Journey
From Homeless at 17 to 150+ Team
Hook: "At 17, I was homeless. At 25, I run one of the world's largest SEO agencies." Content: Carousel (8-10 slides) — timeline format. Key milestones: sleeping rough → first client → first hire → Forbes 30 Under 30 → London office → Atlanta → 150 staff CTA: "Follow along for the next chapter" Format: Carousel with dark background, white text, one stat per slide
PIN 2
The SEO Journey
13 Years of SEO in 60 Seconds
Hook: "I've been doing SEO since I was 13. Here's everything I've learned." Content: Carousel — evolution of SEO through your eyes. 2011: keyword stuffing worked → 2015: content is king → 2020: E-A-T matters → 2024: AI changes everything → 2026: AI Search is the new SEO CTA: "Save this for later — free training in bio" Format: Carousel with blue gradient, each slide = one era
PIN 3
The 100K Mission
I'm Educating 100,000 on AI Search
Hook: "AI is changing search forever. Most businesses aren't ready. I'm fixing that." Content: Single image or short Reel. Why AI Search matters → what Hawk Academy is → the 100K goal with progress bar → how to join (free) CTA: "Link in bio → Hawk Academy (free)" Format: Reel (60s) or single impactful image with progress bar graphic
Design Recommendations
YouTube: Option A (dark) is the stronger pick — YouTube's UI is dark, and the gradient creates visual continuity while the blue accent pops
LinkedIn: Option B (light) works best — it blends with LinkedIn's white layout and feels professionally native
Progress bar is the hero: The 100K goal with a live counter is the most compelling element — it creates curiosity and FOMO. Update it monthly.
Real number: Instagram (4,604) + Hawk Academy (~2,000) + YouTube subs (TBD) ≈ ~8,600+. Update the progress bar accordingly.
Forbes 30 Under 30 is your strongest asset — it belongs in the social proof strip on every banner. It's the fastest credibility signal possible.
Photo: Add a professional headshot (YouTube) or a speaking/stage photo (LinkedIn) — faces increase engagement 38%
Skip "one of the largest" — "Forbes 30 Under 30 · 150+ team · 3 countries" proves it without claiming it
150+ not 120+ — your Instagram bio says 150+ specialists. Use the bigger accurate number.
Hawk Academy CTA is key — it's the least known asset. "Free Training" gives people a reason to click beyond just subscribing
Critical Feedback on Your Brief
"One of the largest AI Search/SEO companies globally" — This is a claim that needs proof or should be implied. Better: let "120+ team across 3 countries" do the talking. People infer scale from specifics.
Progress bar math: ~12K of 100K = 12%. That's low enough to feel early-stage, which is good — it signals "get in now." But if below 10%, consider showing the absolute number prominently and the bar more subtly.
Three platform buttons: Good instinct. But on YouTube banners, the bottom-right area gets cropped on mobile. Place buttons center-left in the safe zone.
"Founder of Hawk Academy free AI Search/SEO training" — Don't lead with "Founder of." Lead with the benefit: "Free AI Search Training" with Hawk Academy as the brand. People care about what they get, not your title.
Consistency matters: Use the same color palette, typography, and progress bar style across YouTube + LinkedIn + Instagram highlights. This builds brand recognition across platforms.
